Hello Parents and Students,
For the past week, students have first worked on their second mini-challenge: Sprocket League (robot soccer), where teams compete to score the ball using their robot. Students have also begun their third mini-challenge: Maze, where robots will have to navigate and make their way from start to finish through a predetermined maze using only programming. In our lessons, students have learned the basics of programming, bracing, how to design a robot, and physics concepts on translating motion.

Some reminders are to please come on time, as showing up late delays the lesson plan for the day. During the next 2 weeks, students will be finishing up the maze challenge, before focusing on the main game: the official game VEX IQ Ringmaster. Parents and family will be invited to watch the tournament on Friday, July 11th. More detail will be sent out later.
